Diana floated back to the ground and fell to a knee, her breastplate heaving as she looked at the massive crater Ares had left, the concrete of the runway burned away in a perfect half-sphere that was at least three feet deep. It was over.

The German soldiers were beginning to come out of their hiding places, looking around as if surprised that they were still alive. Any of them that looked at her did so without any intention of attacking, not after what they just saw. How could they even reconcile the super natural feats they’d just seen?

Only one of them knew how. And she knew an opportunity when she saw it.

Diana panted as she rested on a knee, her heart feeling as tired as her body. Ares was no more. Her quest was over. But what now? She could never return to her home, her companions in man’s world were gone.

Orange light began to shine over the horizon and Diana looked to it. The sun was rising.

No, this wasn’t the end. Ares was gone, but the battle for man’s world would continue in the hearts of all mortals. Diana knew that now and the thought gave her hope. She may not be able to end all war and suffering with a single stroke of her sword, but she would find allies and continue fighting for the good of humanity. She still had much work to—

“MRPH?!”

Diana’s eyes widened in surprise as a damp cloth clamped over her mouth and nose. An arm hugged across her armored chest, pinning her arm down and pulling her back against her attacker.

Reflexively, Diana grabbed the hand holding the cloth, intending to peel it off with her supernatural strength… but it held fast. Shocked, Diana bucked then yanked harder. It still held on. Diana tried to lunge to her feet, but her attacker pressed down, keeping her crouched where they had the leverage.

Whoever was attacking her was as strong as she was, but that was impossible! She’d destroyed Ares! No one short of a god should be able to wrestle with her like this!

“Don’t fight,” a familiar said, “Just let my formula do its work,”

Diana stiffened. Isabel Maru? The chief chemist and weapons developer for Ludendorff; she wasn’t a warrior, much less a goddess!

Thrusting with her powerful legs, Diana forced up to her feet, the pair of them staggering as Doctor Maru held on. Unfortunately, the effort made Diana feel strangely dizzy. Rather than using the momentary loss of balance to her advantage, Diana tottered and her knees almost buckled.

Doctor Maru quickly reasserted her grip, hugging tighter under the amazon’s breasts and pulling Diana’s head back against her shoulder.

The cloth smelled strongly of chemicals and with it held over her mouth and nose it was hard to breathe. Diana shook her head to try to get the annoying thing away, but Maru held it in place and tossing her head made Diana even more dizzy. She felt sleepy, slow, like she’d had too much wine.

“Lucky I saved some of the general's strength tablets for myself,” Maru growled as Diana tried to twist free, “It must hurt you to know all your effort will count for nothing,”

“GRRRMMH!” Diana forced away the dizziness, letting go of the hand holding the cloth and instead trying to elbow back into Maru’s ribs.

Maru grunted as one of the elbows glanced off, but with her hugged so tightly the amazon couldn’t get much of an angle to strike her.

“RHH!” the doctor snarled, “Stop struggling you foolish creature! It’s pointless!”

Diana tried to hook her leg back between the doctor’s and throw her off balance, but she didn’t have the strength to flip her like she’d practiced with her amazon sisters. The pair struggled clumsily, Diana from being drugged and Maru lacking any skill, feet scuffing on the pavement as they staggered about.

However, as the moments went by Diana became weaker and weaker. Diana arched her chest out, but her firm body was becoming softer and easier to handle, the world swimming before her. She was desperately confused. She had been immune to the poison gas that killed everyone in the village; what was this formula and why was it affecting her so?

“MMPH!” Diana cried desperately beneath the cloth, calling on all her remaining strength, “MM-RRPH!”

“My formula is amazing, isn’t it?” Maru said, as if reading her mind, “While I was trying to create a paralytic, this idea came to me out of the sky.”

“MMMH!” Diana protested, prying desperately at Maru’s hand. Her struggles were becoming frantic as she felt herself weakening.

“It didn’t have any practical applications,” Maru continued, “It certainly killed faster than it paralyzed, but wasn’t potent enough for a poison. It was just a curiosity… until I saw you…”

Diana managed to buck again, her hips driving back into Doctor Maru. It was a feeble effort, more of a squirm, and the Doctor easily held on. Maru squeezed a bit tighter as she felt the amazon’s body softening, more and more holding her victim up rather than struggling with her.

“Somehow, I knew this formula was meant for you,” Maru smiled, “Strange, isn’t it? Most illogical…”

Breasts heaving beneath her chest plate, Diana slowly let her head rest back against Maru’s shoulder, her bare thighs wobbling. Her pinned arm hung limply, still holding onto Maru’s hand with the other but that one was starting to droop, hanging on rather than pulling. She started to slide down Maru’s body as her legs wilted beneath her, but the evil doctor boosted her back up, hugging the amazon tight.

“Yes…” Maru pressed her lips to Diana’s ear, “The gentle beckoning of sleep… did you ever think it could be so terrifying? Give in to it… Sleep…”

“MMH… mhhh…” Diana mewled, brow pinching in fear as she struggled to keep her eyes open.

This couldn’t be… How could this be happening? She was helpless in the arms of a mortal?

She tried to pull at Maru’s hand, but it was feeble pawing, her fingers slipping. The arm gave up a moment later, flopping down to her side with a moan. She was so tired… she just wanted to rest…

“I will discover all your secrets…” Maru whispered, “Explore you… until everything you have is mine…”

“Mmh…” Diana whimpered, her blue eyes becoming glassy.

“Submit to that…” Maru continued, “Sleep… sleep knowing that I will strip you down until I see how you work… that you will serve my interests…”

Diana’s troubled breathing was slowing down, becoming deep and even. She could barely understand what the woman holding her was saying, but she was saying it in a pleasant voice. It felt nice. Nice to just close her eyes… she was exhausted…

As Diana melted in her arms, Doctor Maru sank, easing the super heroine to the ground. She kneeled behind her, letting the mighty amazon plop onto her butt and rest back against her. Maru didn’t even need to hold her arm down any more, instead reaching up to gently comb her fingers through the mane of black hair.

“You will be nothing but a subject in my lab…” Maru grinned sadistically but spoke in a soothing voice, “A slave. Naked… without dignity… as completely mine as one of my microscopes. A beaker. At most a pet. And that is all you will ever be…”

Moru could feel Diana’s gentle breathing through the cloth, the amazon’s eyes blinking slowly, starting to roll back. Her powerful body was as limp as a doll, pretty face smooth and peaceful, comfortable and drifting off.

“Surrender to me…” Maru breathed, “Sleeeeeep…”

“Mm…” Diana mewled softly, one last, faint protest.

Then her eyes rolled back and closed with a gentle sigh.

Maru held the cloth for another few moments, making sure the powerful creature was completely unconscious. Her captive didn’t stir, her breathing deep and even, utterly peaceful.

Leaning in, the Doctor pressed a kiss to Diana’s cheek, almost like a mother kissing her baby girl good night. Then she scooched back and eased Diana the rest of the way to the ground.

She kept the cloth over Diana’s face as she laid her down, shoulders first then cupped under her skull to carefully lay it down.

Finally, making sure the cloth still rested on Diana’s mouth, Maru stood up. She dusted herself off quickly, flicking any debris she had acquired from the sleeves and tails of her lab coat, her pants, even pausing to brush some unruly hair back behind her ear. More than half of the bottom of her face was a plastic prosthesis, lips, nose, cheek and jaw an unsettling, doll-like imitation. As such it could be difficult to read her expressions, but now the part of her mouth that was still whole wore a smile of unmistakable satisfaction as she looked down at the unconscious amazon.

Maru never resorted to something as barbaric as fisticuffs, but she found that it gave her a surprising thrill to be physically victorious, especially over one so powerful and beautiful. She made a note that it might be an interesting avenue to explore in the future, a further experiment to perform on her newest test subject.

But now Isabel had to make sure that the powerful woman remained under her power. Reaching into the pocket of her lab coat, she produced a small medicinal bottle and a fresh cloth. She placed the bottle against the cloth and upturned it, waiting until the cloth had absorbed an adequate dose of her formula, then placed the bottle back in her pocket. Kneeling, Maru removed the cloth already on the amazon’s mouth and watched her for a moment.

Even without any typical feminine adornments, the fallen woman was more than beautiful. There was an exoticness to her features that Maru couldn’t place, certainly not German but sharing some traits that were quite appealing. She had the crisp jaw line, pouty lips and graceful features of a mature woman, yet there was an impossible softness to her face. No grooves or creases that came from smiling or frowning; her face was as pristine and soft as a young girl’s. She looked impossibly innocent now, her lips pursed as she breathed gently, eyes peacefully closed.

Maru couldn’t resist stroking her cheek, running a finger over her soft lips. Then with a pleased smile that all this was now hers, she pressed the new dose of formula over Diana’s mouth.

About to get up, the villainous doctor paused. She wasn’t going to take any chances with someone this valuable and powerful. Reaching into her other pocket, she withdrew a surgical mask and placed it over the cloth. She tied the strings tightly behind the amazon’s head to keep the cloth nice and snug, in no danger of falling off. Then on a whim, she slipped the golden tiara from her brow.

Maru held it up and looked it over in the growing sunlight. She knew quite a bit about metallurgy and she could see by the markings that while this looked like gold, it was actually much stronger. Even more interesting was that there wasn’t a scratch or scuff on it, despite the battle she’d just seen.

Deciding to run tests, Maru slipped the tiara into her lab coat as she looked around. Most of the soldiers had fled but a few were still watching curiously, occasionally looking at each other as if wondering whether they should be pleased about the events unfolding.

“You and you and you,” Doctor Maru pointed at the closest soldiers, “Collect this experimental subject and follow me. Carefully,”

The three men’s expressions were hidden beneath the gas masks that they wore, but they visibly blanched, looking to the fallen goddess then back to her. They didn’t move, hesitant to even touch something they just saw cause such damage.

Maru scowled at them, “Do you know who I am?”

The men stared at her silently.

“J-ja…” one of them finally said, “Stimmt… Ich wissen Sie…”

“Then you know that not only am I capable of melting the three of you into the puddle of excrement parts that you truly are,” she hissed, “But also that as General Ludendorff is dead, I am your lawful superior. She’s a helpless girl and you are three strong soldiers. Now pick her up! And do not damage her!”

The men stared at her for a moment, but then hesitantly moved forward to do as they were bidden. The three of them squatted down, one taking her wrists while the other two each took a leg, expecting her to be heavy.

But the amazon was quite easy to lift.

The three froze for a moment in surprise, looking at each other before laughing. One of them even gave her a little bounce, amazed at how something so powerful could be so light.

“Careful, you idiots!” Maru snapped, “This subject is worth far more than your lives! If it only takes two of you, then two of you carry her!”

Moving carefully, the men lowered her back down and resituated, one bending down to take her under the arms while the other clasped under her knees. Diana’s head rested back against one of the men’s stomach, half her face covered by the surgical mask but still breathing deeply and evenly.
The soldiers shared a quick look; this was a duty they were happy to perform.

“Now come,” Maru turned on her heel and began walking, “If the subject moves at all or even frowns in her sleep, alert me immediately. She should be inert for hours, but I’m not taking any chances,”

The men followed, Diana dangling limp between them.

When Diana woke, she felt like she’d slipped from sleep to a strange, sinister dream. The room around her was blurred and surreal, metal and glass shapes she didn’t recognize, glaring lights that floated over her head. The things she heard were warped and somehow muffled, none of it making sense.

She blinked her eyes and tried to lift her arms, but something held them down at the wrists. Her body was heavy and weak, slow to react to her commands and doing so only with great reluctance and clumsiness.

The room swirled about her as she managed to lift her head. She could see the length of her body lying flat, black iron clamps fitted around her wrists and ankles to pin them against a wooden table. Her armored boots and red breast plate were still in place, but the leather strap for carrying her weapons was gone. Past her she could see glass tubes filled with strange fluids, metal cabinets, a bronzed device that looked somewhat like a small telescope.

“Unhh…” Diana groaned and laid her head back down, trying to make sense of all this. Closing her eyes felt nice, even if it made the room spin more noticeably.

Diana heard footsteps but it took a moment for her to open her eyes again. At first, she thought it was some sort of strange blue blob creature from myth. Its body was humanoid but puffy and shapeless, with large round eyes like a bug and no mouth. As the creature leaned over her, she began to understand it was a person wearing a protective lab suit, complete with a hood to hug the hair down, the eyes were in fact goggles and their mouth was covered by a surgical mask.

As Diana’s brow furrowed and she tried to form words, the person used a gloved thumb to draw her eyelid up and shine a small light inside.

“Where…?” Diana mumbled, “Is… Wha’s...?”

The blue clad person shined the light into her other eye then set it down to scribble a note in a small leather-bound book.

“Ares…?” Diana managed to ask.

The figure didn’t respond. They leaned down to Diana’s shoulder, where she noticed gauze taped down as if over a small wound. At the same moment Diana noticed there was an ache there, faint and far away due to her drowsy condition. The person peeled up the tape to examine what was underneath.

“Extraordinary,” the voice sounded chipper, “A sample taken from tissue, muscle, and bone… and already the wound has almost healed,”

The blue coated person smoothed the gauze back down and made some more notes. It took Diana a moment, but she recognized the voice.

“Doctor…” She struggled to say, “Maru…?”

The doctor turned toward her at that and Diana recognized the eyes behind the goggles. Calculating, dark, but with a sinister light to them. It was her.

“You should save your breath for when your wits have fully returned to you, subject 1,” Maru replied, “It should only be a few more moments, if my calculations are correct. I do have some questions for you,”

Memories began to return; things Diana had hoped were simply nightmares. Defeating Ares, but someone, Maru, grabbing her, weakening, fading…

Diana groaned and pulled up on her restraints, managing to clench her fists and even arch her chest off the table. But the restraints held fast. They didn’t even creak.

“I’ve given you a mixture that will allow you consciousness,” Maru didn’t seem alarmed at Diana’s attempt to get free, “But with enough paralytic to keep you quite helpless… and a bit tipsy, I’d wager,”

Diana finally slumped back to the table with a gasp, breasts heaving, completely exhausted by the effort. She closed her eyes and panted, unable to even find the energy to speak.

“With my original formula, I’ve been able to generate numerous mixtures that should be compatible with your unique biology,” Maru continued, “But of course there are things that still puzzle me. Where you hail from; extra planetary in origin or perhaps from a corner of the world not yet discovered? Are there more like you? How are you able to retain such strength and power with so little body mass? What elements are your implements made from and how are they forged?”

Diana lay there panting, brow furrowed in discomfort.

“The first measure is simply to ask you,” Maru tapped her pencil against her notebook, “I have something I believe will see to that if you prove stubborn, but I prefer cooperation. Do you understand?”

Diana’s brow furrowed and she clenched her eyes tightly for a moment. She was utterly trapped, affected by some sort of potion and bound as surely as Prometheus to the rock in Tartarus.  As difficult as it was to accept, she was at this mortal’s mercy.

She swallowed and allowed herself to relax.

“I understand… what you want” Diana rolled her head towards Maru, “But such knowledge… is not for mortals…”

Maru set her notebook down then began removing the long rubber gloves she wore.

“You have no choice in the matter,” Maru said, setting her gloves aside and reaching for her goggles, “I will take my answers from you any way I wish,”

She rested the goggles atop her brow, then worked the hood back so she could untie the surgical mask.

“You… must let me go…” Diana said with as much force as she could manage, “You meddle with forces… your science can’t measure,”

Now a bit more comfortable, Maru took up the notebook and pencil once more.

“Your name is an easy start,” the doctor ignored Diana’s question, “What do they call you, where you come from?”

Diana looked back towards the ceiling, where bright bulbs were hanging above her. Part of her mission was to expand mortals’ understanding, help them reach a better place. She could answer a few questions, as long as they were harmless.

“Diana...” she said.

Maru scribbled, “And where is your home? Outside of our planet?”

“No…” Diana answered, wearily, “I come… from an island called Themyscira… hidden by the gods…”

“… the gods…” Maru frowned a bit at that, “And are there more like you on this… Themyscira?”

“Yes…” Diana swallowed, resting her eyes, “But… no… I am… Ares said I was… born of Zeus…”

“Zeus?” Maru looked up at her, then began scribbling and murmuring to herself, “The gods… Zeus… possibly a superstitious explanation to a scientific phenomenon… often seen in backward cultures, yet the metallurgy in the tools and the subject’s physical powers…”

“We… are not backward!” Diana pulled again at her bonds, “My home… is a paradise… and you will not… speak of it in that way!”

Diana made no further progress and was left panting again as Maru finished scribbling her notes.

“And where is this island of Themyscira?” Maru asked.

Narrowing her eyes, setting her jaw, Diana glared at her. She would never tell her that.

“You…” Diana’s angelic features were hard with righteous anger, “Are a lost… evil creature… ruined by your… own workings…”

“I am not the one who is lost, subject 1,” Maru replied mildly, “Now where is your island?”

“I am not… your subject…” Diana snarled, chest beginning to heave with emotion, “I am Diana… princess of the amazons… daughter of Zeus… And if you do not… release me… you will regret it…”

Maru stared hard at the princess, unamused. Diana glared back defiantly. She would never break. She would never betray her sisters.

Maru watched her for another moment, before making another quick note, “You will answer or you will be made to answer. Now where is the island, subject 1?”

Diana’s glare was final, her lips a firm line, eyes hard even while having to occasionally blink back dizziness. She didn’t answer.

The evil doctor didn’t wait long. After a few seconds of silence, she set the notebook down on the table then turned towards a metal cabinet.

While Maru began preparing something, Diana took stock of her surroundings. There were numerous implements around, a large glass case for experiments, and she noticed Antiope’s tiara resting in a smaller case, the golden lariat rolled up on the table beside it. She couldn’t see the door from where she was lying and there were no windows, meaning they were more than likely underground.

Diana tested her bonds again, carefully, taking note of their strength and her own. She was still weak, dizzy and disoriented, but an amazon was more than just her fighting skills and physical abilities. Maru had underestimated her and soon she would pay for everything she’d done.

The doctor turned back to her with a syringe filled with a clear liquid. Moving briskly, she took a handful of Diana’s hair then turned her head to the side and lowered the needle. Diana tried to pull away, to shrug her shoulder up, but Maru held her firmly and was easily able to place the needle to her neck. A moment later the princess winced as she felt it slide in, injecting something cool into her veins.

“Your science… is nothing to the… power of the gods…” Diana glared as Maru finished the injection, “I will… not let you harm… anyone else with… your e-evil…”
Diana blinked quickly. It seemed like the room was becoming a bit foggier but it might be her imagination.

“You poor, deluded girl…” Maru’s eyes twinkled, her ruined face trying to grin, “Don’t you know defeat when you see it?”

Diana frowned, having to blink again. She saw a little spot in her vision and when she blinked there were more. She tossed her head a bit to try to get rid of them, but the room sloshed when she did that, nothing making sense.

“This mixture is what I call a hypnotic hallucinogen,” Dr Maru leaned a bit closer to watch the effects, “You’ll still have access to your memories, but the filter between them and your frontal lobe will be much thinner. You’ll be put in a disoriented, suggestable state. And then you’ll tell me everything,”

Diana’s mouth began to gape at the things she was seeing. The ceiling was shifting about like a pond on a breezy day, the lights swirling and moving around. Something wasn’t right, but she couldn’t focus on what it was. A voice was speaking to her and when it did, reality itself rippled.

“Science is supreme, Diana,” Maru pinched the princess’ chin and turned her face back towards her, “And you are its subject, for all your power. Just a subject,”

Brow furrowing, Diana struggled to understand through the sleepy haze. She saw a plastic face looking at her now, with very dark eyes.

“I…” Diana lips were numb, her voice sounding like it belonged to someone else, “I’m…”

“You are just a subject,” Maru sneered, “Nothing more,”

Diana’s eyelashes fluttered as the voice of the plastic face spoke to her, making the world shimmer and sounding in her head. She couldn’t focus directly on the face, but the voice was so important. It was everything. And she understood it.

“Now...” Maru grinned, “Where is your island?”

“Oh…” Diana sighed, “Themyscira… it’s… I shouldn’t…”

“Where is Themyscira, Diana?” Maru asked patiently.

Diana frowned, it being difficult to focus on particulars, “Two… two weeks sail… south southwest of…” Diana sighed again as she got the answer out, “the country you call England…”

Maru scribbled then smiled down at her subject, her eyes glinting. Her fingers glided through Diana’s smooth black hair, coming it back from her brow.

“Hmm…” Diana mumbled softly at the touch, closing her eyes.

“Good girl,” Maru continued to pet her, “You’re doing well, Diana. Your island sounds very nice. Is that where your armor and weapons were made?”

Diana told her. She answered all of Doctor Maru’s questions, not always knowing exactly what the villainess wanted but giving her details, telling her truthfully everything she knew, things she never should have said. Maru scribbled it all down, making notes, gently stroking and praising Diana with soft words.

It got easier and easier to get clear answers and by the end of it, Maru was certain her subject would have outlined the defenses of her precious island if asked. She knew she was onto something here; a wonder of the world yet to be harnessed.

“Very good, Diana…” Maru set the notepad down, “You are a very good girl and you have done well,”

She stroked Diana’s cheek and the amazon smiled gently, letting out a contented breath through her nose.

The amazon wouldn’t be a problem now.

She began undoing the binders on Diana’s wrist, then moved down to her ankle.

“Now to give your body a more thorough examination,” Maru freed one ankle, then the other, “See what other secrets you are hiding…”

Diana didn’t react to being freed. She was quite comfortable where she was and didn’t have any desire to fight.

Maru undid the last wrist restraint and then paused to feel the glossy surface of Diana’s bracer with a finger, tracing the carved grooves and designs.

“This,” She turned the wrist to reveal the bracer’s buckles, “Is of a different material than the rest. Are these bracelets special somehow?”

“Amazon bracers…” Diana mumbled sleepily, “All unique… made of divine silver… Hephaestus’ forge… symbol of… amazon…”

“Interesting,” Maru replied.

She undid the buckles and removed it, noting the perfection of the shining metal as she slipped it from Diana’s arm. She held it up to the light, turning it at various angles to find any signs of machining, scuffs, any kind of imperfection at all.

“Wonderous…” the Doctor’s eyes shone with greed, “Handmade and flawless. Not even a scratch. It will be interesting to find its melting point…”

Upon hearing that Diana’s brow furrowed. Every amazon had bracers; even as a young girl she’d worn them. They were priceless and made from metals that were a gift from the gods. Sacred and part of her identity!

“No…” Diana tried to lift her head, “Don’t take… take…”

Seeing her captive was upset and trying to sit up, Maru quickly set the bracer down then laid a hand on Diana’s chest.

“Shhh… you don’t need it anymore,” Maru smoothed Diana’s hair back with her palm, “I am taking it because you don’t need it… it’s mine now, understand?”

“I…” Diana blinked, “I… don’t… need it?”

Leaving her palm on Diana’s smooth chest, Maru leaned a bit closer, “You don’t need it… it doesn’t belong to you… it is mine now…”

Diana sighed gently and allowed her head to rest back on the table, the villainess still petting her hair back. Her expression smoothed out, drifting back into a comfortable haze.

“Don’t need it…” she said softly, “Yours now…”

“Good girl,” Maru cooed, gliding her nails through Diana’s hair.

Diana made a content sound as Maru smoothed her hand along the bared skin of Diana’s upper chest and shoulders. Isabel wasn’t a hedonist, but she could appreciate the soft feel of this wonderful creature’s skin, the beautiful shape and tone. It also had the advantage of making Diana relax, slip deeper into her drugged trance.

“Now give me your arm,” Maru traced a finger along Diana’s collar bone, “So I can have the other one,”

With a faint whine of effort, Diana lifted her opposite arm enough to rest it on her stomach.

“Good girl,” Maru cooed again as she unbuckled the bracer, “Now the boots…”

The doctor stripped Diana quietly and efficiently, figuring out how to undo the catches on the long metal boots and doing them one by one before revealing long, graceful legs. Diana groaned a bit when Maru turned her on her side to find the catches of her chest plate, but a bit of stroking and soft words made her sigh and relax. She even made a pleased, relieved sound when Maru opened her tight breast plate and freed her body from the metal.

After a few minutes of work, Maru had Diana off the table and was approaching with scissors in hand, the amazon herself standing on unsteady legs.

Standing, the once mighty amazon looked drowsy and miserable. Her proud bearing was utterly gone, replaced with slumped shoulders, head lolling to one side, a pout of discomfort on her ageless face making her look almost juvenile. Her hips occasionally swayed as the world swirled around her, but she stayed on her feet, letting her eyes drift closed.

Maru placed a hand to Diana’s shoulder to keep her steady on her feet, then brought the scissors to her chest. In lieu of a bra, Diana wore a long silk strip that was wound around and around her bust to keep her breasts supported. Rather than take the time to unwind it, Maru simply slipped scissors between Diana’s breasts and carefully cut it away. The silk loosened and finally parted to allow Diana’s breasts freedom, then Maru slipped the scissors into the waist of the simple cloth underwear and cut them away as well. They fell to the floor at Diana’s feet.

Now that she had an unobstructed view of the amazon’s body, Maru set the scissors down then turned to scrutinize her, frowning as she looked for anything that might explain how she retained such powers. Taking a wrist, she lifted Diana’s arm, the drugged heroine letting it hang limp before Maru lowered it back down.

Maru was slightly disappointed, stepping around Diana to view her from the back. This creature with such wonderful abilities was very appealing naked, but didn’t appear abnormal otherwise. Maru slid her hand up one of the bare thighs, muscular and full but with a girlish grace almost like that of a mare or a doe. She let her hand slide up to Diana’s hip as she circled back around to the front, eyeing her stomach, breasts.

If there was anything peculiar about her wonderful new specimen, it was the sheer perfection of her. Her body was well trained and muscular, probably since birth, but her figure didn’t narrow like most athletes trained at a young age. The doctor glided her hand up and down Diana’s hip, feeling where it flared so gracefully from her waist. The breasts as well were more generous than they should have been with such a low body fat percentage. They weren’t overly large, about the size of ripe oranges, but very round.

Maru traced a finger around a breast, cocking her head slightly. They didn’t droop at all and to her eye were perfectly round, symmetrical as if an artist had carved them in marble. When she reached up to cup one of the breasts, she was almost surprised to feel that it was soft, molding gently in her palm. Quite pleasant to feel, with such soft skin. She would have to take measurements later...

Moving to the other breast, the shorter Maru looked up towards the amazon’s face to check her reaction. Diana was letting her eyes close almost like she was dozing on her feet, not minding the invasive touching. For a moment Maru marveled at how she was allowed to degrade such a powerful creature, when if she’d had her wits and strength she could rend the evil doctor to pieces with her bare hands.

But then again, Maru knew that warriors and raw power didn’t dominate the Earth. Science did. This wondrous creature, with all her pride and beauty and power, would be just another conquest.

So much for magic and superstition.

“Listen now,” Maru said as she took Diana by the shoulders to turn her, “Your name is “subject 1”. You will answer to “subject 1” and if anyone is to ask, you will tell them that is your name. Do you understand?”

Diana shuffled as she was turned in place, directly gently until she was facing away from the doctor.

“My… name is… subject 1?” Diana’s voice was weary and flat.

“Yes,”

Maru placed her hand between Diana’s shoulder blades then smoothed it down the grooves of her back, following the path of her spine.

“Answer now,” Maru let her hand feel down over Diana’s bottom, “What is your name?”

Maru looked down Diana’s body as the amazon paused at the question. Her flanks swelled out generously despite the width given them by her hips, smooth and rounded, shaped like a heart with a shadowy groove between the cheeks. Maru had felt these shapes hard against her hips when she struggled, but now they were soft and relaxed.

“My name…” Diana mumbled, “is subject 1…”

Maru squeezed the bare cheek, the plastic part of her face hauntingly crooked from the breadth of her grin.

“Good girl,” Maru cooed.

Stepping away from subject 1, Maru let her stand for a few more moments as she pulled open a few drawers. When she found what she was looking for, she snatched it up, a buckle jingling.

Maru slipped the object around subject 1’s neck. It was a thick leather collar she’d had for test dogs that had invariably died. She hadn’t been able to do many more tests on dogs, but she had kept the collar and leash.

“You have had a trying day, subject 1,” Maru buckled the collar in place, “You need to rest to keep up your strength. You are tired now,”

Subject 1 swayed a bit at the words, almost as if she’d fall to sleep right there. She yawned.

“I am… tired…” Subject 1 mumbled, “Trying… day…”

“Yes,” Doctor Maru agreed, testing the leash with a little tug, “You will come with me now and I shall find you a nice cage where you can sleep,”

“Oh...” Subject 1 yawned again.

Maru gave her a pat on the bottom to encourage her, the round shapes jiggling.

“Walk now, subject 1. Walk along,”

The beaten woman once known as Princess Diana sighed then shuffled on, her hips swaying drunkenly while Doctor Isabel Maru guided her further into the darkness of the lab.

Months later, Doctor Maru was leading a skeptical money lender into her new lab.

“This way, good sir,” Maru smiled, “If you truly must see the subject of your funds, then do follow,”

The wealthy gentleman looked at her. Even with her face miraculously healed, Isabel Moru’s smile was a bit unsettling. Her lab so far had been filled with strange implements, the place stinking with various crafting tools, some of it like crude oil and others almost like molten metal. But the cunning scientist had made good on all her promises so far and now she promised an even more lucrative venture. So, he followed.

“Most of my recent break throughs have come from one particular wonder… one acquisition,” the scientist held up one finger to illustrate, “But now I have knowledge of the location where there are even more like her…”

“Her?” the man asked.

Maru smiled but did not answer.

She led him to a drawn curtain, then pulled it back to reveal bars.

“My word!” he gasped.

Lying on her side inside a cage originally meant for a gorilla was the most beautiful woman either of them had ever seen. She lifted her head drowsily, letting black hair fall partially in front of her face, then began to sit up to her knees when she saw Maru.

“Come here, subject 1,” Maru coaxed her, “Say hello to the nice man,”

Subject one climbed unsteadily to her feet. She was either drugged or very tired, wearing a scant hospital gown that did nothing to hide her legs, thick manacles chaining her wrists together. She stepped up to the bars and Maru reached through them to pet her hair. Subject 1 sighed and leaned her head into it.

“You…” the gentleman came a bit closer, “You mean to tell me that this woman is the source of your genetic break throughs and… and…”

“Yes,” Maru stroked subject 1’s cheek, “Imagine what I could do with more like her… her island has metals and elements, wonders that could make Germany an empire again. With government funding and a modern army, we could have it all,”

Maru gave subject 1 a nudge towards the gentleman and she obediently shuffled towards him, standing against the bars and presenting herself.

The gentleman smiled. She was indeed the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen and she didn’t mind if he stroked her lips, her hair. She seemed to be rather simple or just very drugged. Her skin and hair was so soft, her face so lovely. Perhaps at the right price, he could convince Doctor Maru to part with this pretty thing, after she was done with her...

“Does she have a name?” the gentleman looked down at the girl’s legs.

“Subject 1,” Maru grinned.

“But when I’m feeling poetic… I call her Wonder Woman,”

Great story! Very exciting i love the way Subject ! became softer as the drugs effected Sub 1. I was to believe Wonder Woman's strength was from a amazon belt. Do you think the belt power could be used by DR. Maru after using the drug to find out how the belt works giving her super strength and no more need to drug Sub 1 ? Please tell me theres a part 2,and 3 and 4 to the tale of Subject 1.
